Dublin city street sealed off following discovery of suspicious device

A suspicious device has been found on a street in North Dublin city centre.

A device was discovered on Nottingham Street.


Gardaí and Defence Forces are at the scene where the device was discovered.

“Gardaí at a house following reports of the discovery of a suspicious device this afternoon in the Nottingham Street area of Dublin 3,” a statement read.

No further information has been released in regards to the incident.


The street has been sealed off as examinations take place.
