Manhunt for two suspects in Texas following shooting of fourteen people

Police in Austin, Texas are searching for two suspects following the mass shooting, which resulted in fourteen people getting shot.

The shooting occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning in a busy entertainment district in the city.

Upon arrival, police located several victims who had sustained gun shot wounds.

“Most of the victims were innocent bystanders, but we’re still sorting out all of the victims to see what their involvement is in this case,” the Police chief said.

The Police said they were searching for two male suspects who are believed to be responsible for the shooting.

Police officers began to perform life saving measures on the victims until the emergency services arrived.

“They were able to immediately begin life-saving measures for many of these patients, including applications of tourniquets, applications of chest seals,” the Police chief continued.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott released a statement following the incident, saying The Department of Public Safety is working with Austin Police to “ensure that the perpetrators are captured and punished to the fullest extent of the law”.
