COVID-19: 315 new confirmed cases in Ireland

The Department of Health has confirmed a further 315 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Data relating to deaths associated with the virus has not been released due to the cyber attack on the HSE.


There are currently 62 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, 22 of these are in ICU.

Yesterday, there were 58 patients in hospital with Covid-19, with 22 of these in intensive care units.

In Northern Ireland, there has been a further 70 cases of Covid-19 confirmed.


No further deaths associated with the virus have been reported.
