COVID-19: 398 new confirmed cases in Ireland

The Department of Health has confirmed a further 398 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

No information surrounding deaths associated with the virus has been announced due to the cyber attack on the HSE.

The Department confirmed that there are currently 70 people in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, 23 of these are in intensive care units.

Yesterday, there were 76 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, with 27 of these in ICU.

In Northern Ireland, there has been a further 109 cases of Covid-19 recorded.

No further deaths associated with the virus have been confirmed.
