COVID-19: 377 new confirmed cases in Ireland

The Department of Health has confirmed a further 377 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

The figures do not contain any information surrounding deaths related to the virus due to the cyber attack on the HSE.

The Department further confirmed that there are currently 69 patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, including 26 in intensive care units.

Yesterday, there were 70 people in Irish hospitals with Covid-19, including 27 in ICU.

In Northern Ireland, there has been a further 54 cases of Covid-19 confirmed.

No further deaths have been reported.

Today marks a further relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions in Ireland.

Outdoor dining can resume, gyms and leisure centres can reopen and wedding receptions can now have 25 people present.
