Drake Bell charged with attempted endangering children and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles

Former star of Nickelodeon’s ‘Drake & Josh’ Drake Bell has been charged with attempted endangering children and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

The Nickelodeon star was charged in Ohio, in connection with sending inappropriate sexual messages to a 15-year-old girl.

At a concert in December 2017, an incident also took place.

Bell was allegedly sending inappropriate messages to the girl for months prior the December 2017 concert.

The prosecutions office said “Bell violated his duty of care and, in doing so, created a risk of harm to the victim.”

It is currently unclear when Bell was arrested, but he appeared in court on Thursday where he pleaded not guilty and was allowed to leave on a $2,500 personal bond.

He will appear before the court on June 23rd for a pretrial hearing.

Bell has not made public comment on the charges as of yet.
