German police shut down massive child pornography network

German police have made four arrests after shutting down what they described as one of the biggest child pornography platforms in the world.

The four arrests were made following a series of raids that took place during the month of April, the four men arrested were members of the network which was known as ‘Boystown’.

According to police, the worldwide network, with over 400,000 members, was set up in 2019.

Three men were arrested in Germany while another man, a German citizen, was arrested in Paraguay.

Three of the men were accused of being the network’s administrators while another man was one of their most active users according to police.

Following the raids, ‘Boystown’ and other chat forums were taken offline.
