COVID-19: 453 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 453 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

No further people diagnosed with the virus have died.

78% of cases reported are under 45-years-old.

As of 8am today, 129 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 40 are in ICU.

29.3% of the adult population have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine, 11.4% are fully vaccinated.
