UK reports 32 blood clot deaths following AstraZeneca vaccination

The UK’s medicines regulator has stated that 32 people have died after suffering rare blood clots after taking the AstraZeneca vaccine.

A total of 168 people of the 21.2 million who have been vaccinated have been affected by the blood clots after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The figures for these blood clot side effects run up to the 14th of April which reveals an increase of ten deaths along with 68 additional cases.

Taking advice from the UK’s regulator, the UK government has agreed to offer the majority of people under 30 an alternative to the AstraZeneca vaccine.
