Motorcyclist dies following collision in Dublin

Investigations are ongoing after a motorcyclist was killed following a collision in Dublin at approximately 5pm yesterday.

The collision occurred at the entrance to Northwest Business Park when the motorcyclist had collided with a car.

The body of the motorcyclist was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown to undergo a post-mortem examination while the driver of the car was treated at the scene.

Anyone with information or in possession of dash-cam footage of the Mitchelstown Road between 4:30pm and 5:30pm yesterday is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station at 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
