One dead following hospital shooting in Paris

A man has been killed following a shooting that occurred outside the Henry Dunant Hospital in Paris.

A woman who worked as a security guard at the hospital was seriously injured following the shooting.

The man died shortly after being taken to hospital to undergo treatment for his injuries. Sources revealed that several shots were fired outside the Paris-based hospital by an unidentified attacker who fled the scene on a motorbike.

Investigations remain ongoing while a motive for the attack has yet to be established.
