Two dead following separate collisions in Galway and Wexford

Two men have been killed in separate road collisions that occurred in counties Galway and Wexford. One incident occurred at approximately 1:40am on the N25 at Drinagh on the Rosslare Road in Wexford where a 25-year-old man was killed.

The man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was taken to Wexford General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was seriously injured following the collision while two other passengers were treated for minor injuries.

Anyone in possession of dash-cam footage on the N25 at the time of the incident or who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Wexford Garda Station at 053 916 5200.

Another road crash in Galway resulted in the death of a man in his 30s. This collision occurred near An Ceathrú Rua at approximately 3:50am.

A passenger in the car, a man also in his 30s, was hospitalised for non-life-threatening injuries. Any witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage of this car collision is asked to contact Salthill Garda Station at 091 514 720, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
