Three-car collision leaves two dead and two injured in Louth

A collision involving three cars has resulted in two deaths in Louth earlier today. The incident occurred on the Ardee Link Road in Dunleer at approximately 8:10am this morning.

Two men, aged in their 50s and 30s, were both killed following the collision while the driver of the third vehicle was hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries.

The passenger of the second car, being driven by the man in his 30s, was also hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation remains underway by gardaĆ­ as they appeal to anyone with information in relation to the incident or anyone in possession of dash-cam footage of the area this morning. Anyone with information is asked to contact Drogheda Garda Station at 041 987 4200, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
