Two women who refused to go into quarantine after arriving from Dubai remanded

Two women who refused to go into hotel quarantine after arriving home from Dubai have been remanded in custody with consent to bail.

One of the bail conditions is that they present themselves for hotel quarantine at a State approved facility immediately upon their release. 

The two women, who were 30 and 25, were both arrested at Dublin Airport yesterday.

They have been charged with resisting going into mandatory quarantine under the Health Act 2021.

They were remanded to appear at the District Court at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Friday 9th April.
