Two women arrested for refusing mandatory quarantine

Gardaí have arrested two women at Dublin Airport after they refused to go into mandatory quarantine after returning from Dubai.

It is understood that the two Irish women, both in their 30s, were travelling for a cosmetic procedure.

After being greeted by the army at the airport, both women refused to enter quarantine and gardaí were called as a result.

Gardaí stated that the four E’s method was used before the women were arrested for failure to comply. They were taken to Ballymun Garda Station and have since been charged, they are both due to appear in court this morning.
