Health officials have confirmed a further 511 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.
Two further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.
72% of cases reported are under 45-years-old.
The county breakdown is as follows: 288 new cases were recorded in Dublin, 40 in Kildare, 30 in Meath, 28 in Westmeath, 27 in Laois, with the remaining 178 cases spread across 19 other counties.
12.4% of the population have received a first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, 5% have been fully vaccinated.
