Murder investigation underway after bodies discovered in Northern Ireland

The PSNI have launched a double-murder investigation after three bodies were discovered at two homes in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim last night.

At approximately 11pm last night, officers were called to a stabbing incident at a property in the Derrycoole Way area where a woman was pronounced dead.

A second property on the Gleville Road was searched where another dead woman was discovered along with an unconscious man who died soon afterwards.

The PSNI have stated that they are not searching for anyone else in connection to the incidents.
