ICU numbers at their lowest since early January

A steady fall in the number of people in ICU with Covid-19 has occurred over recent weeks with 107 patients recorded this morning.

In the last 24 hours, six people were admitted to ICU and nine people were discharged.

This is the lowest number of people receiving treatment in ICU since January 8th when the number was also 107.

The number of Covid-19 cases in hospitals has also significantly decreased as there are currently 461 patients with Covid-19 receiving treatment in Irish hospitals with 47 discharged in the last 24 hours.
