Covid-19 cases in hospitals continue to decrease

According to the latest figures from the HSE, the number of Covisd-19 cases in hospitals has continued to decrease. The number of people in ICU has also decreased and currently stands at 151 people.

There were 813 people in hospital with Covid-19 last night which is a reduction of 48 when compared to yesterday morning’s figures.

Dr Ronan Glynn stated in a letter to the Minister for Health that the number of cases could reduce to 100-300 a day by the middle of next month.

Dr Glynn added that Ireland could see a reduction of 200-400 cases per day by the beginning of March.
