Ireland lose opening fixture of 2021 Six Nations, losing to Wales 21-16

Ireland have lost their opening fixture of the Guinness Six Nations 2021.

Wales overcame a damaged Ireland, who lost Peter O’Mahony early to a deserving red card.

Ireland showed promise following O’Mahonys departure, with Sexton, Beirne, Henshaw and Lowe playing exceptional.

This loss makes a difficult climb for the boys in green with five games remaining.

Ireland will next host France next Sunday in the Aviva stadium.
