COVID-19: 1,372 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 1,372 new cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Seven further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

56% are under the age of 45.

The county breakdown is as follows: 502 cases are in Dublin, 164 are in Cork, 77 are in Wexford, 75 are in Waterford, 66 are in Louth and the remaining 488 cases are spread across all other counties.
