Investigation underway after woman dies following car collision in Dublin

Investigations are ongoing after a woman in her 60s died following a two-car collision in Lusk, Co Dublin.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision at Blake’s Cross on the R127, her body was removed from the scene and will undergo a post-mortem examination.

The driver of the second car, a woman in her 50s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or is in possession of dash-cam footage of the incident, to contact Balbriggan Garda Station at 01 802 0510, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
