COVID-19: 3,231 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 3,231 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Sixty further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

54% of cases reported are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 931 cases are in Dublin, 388 in Cork, 238 in Louth, 155 in Waterford, 151 in Limerick, and the remaining cases are spread across all other counties.
