COVID-19: 3,955 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 3,955 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Twenty-eight further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

54% of cases reported are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 1,210 are in Dublin, 456 in Cork, 235 in Louth, 221 in Meath, 218 in Limerick, and the remaining 1,615 cases are spread across all other counties.
