COVID-19: 3,086 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 3,086 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Forty-Six further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

54% of cases reported are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 604 in Galway, with 574 in Dublin, 466 in Mayo, 187 in Cork and 138 in Limerick. The remaining 1,117 cases are spread across all other counties.
