A fire that broke out at an animal feed storage facility near the Port of Cork this morning has been brought under control.
No casualties have been reported and emergency services remain at the scene to monitor the situation.
The fire broke out at the R&H Hall grain store for animal feed on the Ringaskiddy Deepwater Berth.
The Port’s ‘emergency plan’ was activated; firefighters and gardaí attended the scene.
Minister for Public Expenditure and Cork TD Michael McGrath has warned people to stay away from the area.
