COVID-19: 1,754 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 1,754 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Eleven further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

64% of cases reported are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 523 in Dublin, 296 in Cork, 180 in Galway, 104 in Mayo, 94 in Kerry and the remaining 557 cases are spread across all other counties.
