Spain will now be registering those who decline the Covid-19 vaccination with Spanish health minister Salvador Illa stating that the data would be shared with European partners.
Surpassing 50,000 Covid-19 deaths, Spain has begun its vaccination programme as it had one of the worst Covid-19 death tolls than anywhere in the world.
Salvador Illa stated, “What will be done is a registry, which will be shared with our European partners… of those people who have been offered it and have simply rejected it.”
However, Salvador assured that the document would not be made public and will be done with the upmost respect for data protection.
