Met Éireann issues Status Yellow wind and rain warnings ahead of Storm Bella

As Strom Bella is expected to sweep across the country today, Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow wind and rain warning.

Winds of up to 65 km/h are to be expected as the storm sweeps across the country this afternoon and tonight, with gusts of up to 110 km/h.

The Status Yellow wind warning will come into effect at 3pm and remain so until 4am tomorrow.

Localised flooding is to be expected as a Status Yellow rain warning has been issued, which will come into effect at 3pm and remain so until 4am.
