An 80-year old man has died following a collision on the L4704 in west Cork at approximately 5:55pm yesterday.
The car was found crashed in a ditch and gardaí believe that no other vehicle was involved in the collision.
The man’s body was removed from the scene and taken to the Mortuary in Cork University Hospital to undergo a post-mortem examination.
Anyone with information or dash-cam footage of the incident is asked to get in contact with gardaí.
