Health officials have confirmed a further 922 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.
Eight further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.
438 of the cases reported today are men, with 477 women. More than two thirds of cases involve people under the age of 45.
The county breakdown is as follows: 337 in Dublin, with 73 in Cork, 70 in Limerick, 56 in Wexford, and 43 in Galway. The remaining 343 cases are spread across all other counties.
