COVID-19: 970 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 970 new cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Thirteen further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

64% of cases reported are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 348 in Dublin, 60 in Limerick, 59 in Cork, 59 in Wexford, 55 in Louth and the remaining 389 cases are spread across 20 other counties.
