A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for nine counties which will come into effect at 9pm tomorrow and will remain so until 9am on Wednesday.
The nine counties that have been issued the weather warning are Carlow, Cork, Kilkenny, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow.
The affected counties can expect gusts of up to 100km/h with mean speeds of 50-65km/h.
Wet and windy weather is to be expected for most of the week; however, mild temperatures are to be expected.
