A woman in her 30s has been arrested by gardaí following a suspected acid attack that occurred in Tallaght yesterday evening.
The woman walked into a takeaway shop located in the Tallaght Square and “threw a substance at three women behind the counter” according to gardaí.
It is believed that the substance which was thrown at the three women was acid.
The three women, aged in their late teens and early 20s, were hospitalised at Tallaght University Hospital with two of the women being discharged. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
