Gardaí have launched an investigation following two separate stabbings that occurred in south Dublin last night.
The stabbings, which occurred within a short distance of each other, are being investigated to see if they are linked.
The first incident occurred at an address on Castle Road in Ronanstown last night at approximately 9:45pm where a man was found stabbed in the leg. He was hospitalised at James Connolly Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At approximately 9:55pm, a 17-year-old boy was found nearby with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Tallaght Hospital last night for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
