Gardaí have arrested a man in his 40s in connection to the murder of 17-year-old Keane Mulready Woods.
The man is currently being detained at Drogheda Garda Station and can be held for up to seven days. This is the third arrest to be made as part of this investigation.
The investigation began back in January when the remains of Keane were discovered in separate portions of north Dublin in the days following his disappearance.
His murder is believed to be linked to an ongoing feud between two gangs in the Drogheda area. The man who was recently arrested is believed to have lured Mulready Woods into the house where he was murdered. He was also linked to a car that was found in Drumcondra, Dublin where parts of Keane’s remains were found.
