First Northern Ireland vaccine recipient will receive jab on Tuesday

As stocks of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccinations arrive in Northern Ireland, the first recipient of the vaccine is to get the jab on Tuesday morning.

An 800 plus team are involved in the subsequent roll-out programme of the vaccine which will be administered at a mass vaccination centre located at the Royal Victoria Hospital.

The initial batch of 25,000 vaccines has been taken to a central storage facility where the location has not been disclosed.
