A total of ten people have been rescued from an illegal maternity home in Nigeria following a police raid that took place in the Mowe area of Ogun state yesterday.
A Nigerian police spokesman stated that four children, four pregnant women and two other women were rescued.
He added that the women told police that men were hired by the owner to impregnate them and sell their babies on the black market for profit. Two suspects have been arrested which include a man and the owner’s daughter; however, the owner is still on the run.
