COVID-19: 270 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 270 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Five further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

63% of cases reported are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 58 in Dublin, 38 in Donegal, 28 in Wicklow, 25 in Mayo, 24 in Limerick, and the remaining 97 cases are spread across 21 other counties
