COVID-19: 299 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 299 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Two further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

Over two-thirds of cases reported are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 94 in Dublin, 41 in Donegal, 27 in Wicklow, 14 in Louth and 13 in Limerick. The remaining 110 cases were spread across 20 other counties.
