Penneys to open two stores for 39 hours next week

Penneys has stated that two of its stores will open for 24 hours next week as non-essential retail outlets reopen on the 1st of December.

Penneys stores in Blanchardstown Centre and Dundrum Town Centre will open at 7am on Tuesday and will remain open until 10pm on Wednesday. The stores will be operating for 24 hours followed by a full day of trade which will equate to 39 hours.

Both stores will open from 7am until 10pm for the entire month of December. All stores have extended their trading hours in order to meet pent up demand for Christmas.

These extended hours will allow for a large range of shopping hours as well as reduce queuing.

Retail outlets located in shopping centres and city centres will open until 10pm during the week. Outlets located in towns and town shopping centres will remain open until 9pm on weekdays.
