COVID-19: 243 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 243 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Seven more people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

There are 254 people in hospital with Covid-19, with 31 of these currently receiving treatment in intensive care units.

The county breakdown is as follows: 91 in Dublin, with 26 in Donegal, 18 in Cork, 16 in Waterford and 15 in Limerick.
