Ireland moves to Level 3 on December 1st, with relaxation on restrictions for three weeks from December 18th

An Taoiseach has announced that the nation will move from Level 5 to Level 3 from the 1st December.

The move will see all retail outlets, hairdressers, museums, libraries and gyms open from next Tuesday.

The Government also advised that people from 1st December to wear masks in crowded workplaces, places of worship and outdoor areas.

From Friday 4th December, restaurants and pubs that have a kitchen and serve food will reopen. Hotels can also reopen their dining rooms to the public from that date.

On Friday, 18th December until 6th January, people can travel around the country. Also from 18th December, up to three households can gather.
