John Lewis (52) has been sentenced to seven years in prison for sexually abusing and prostituting a 16-year-old girl.
The teenager was also sexually abused by four other men to which Judge Martin Nolan described as causing “considerable harm” to the girl. John Lewis’s crimes came to light when the girl’s mother found a second phone owned by the girl and confiscated it.
Upon confiscating the phone, her mother noticed a large number of “very controlling” messages.
GardaĂ searched Lewis’s house and found five videos and 77 child abuse images of the victim on his phone.
GardaĂ also found a handwritten contract which committed the girl to 128 agreed sexual acts and to obey any instruction from him “without hesitation or prejudice”. Lewis pleaded guilty to the offences which took place between February 2018 and October 2018.
