COVID-19: 456 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 456 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Five further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

69% of cases reported are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 105 in Dublin, 85 in Limerick, 43 in Cork, 38 in Meath, 25 in Clare and the remaining 160 cases are spread across 21 other counties.
