Ten deaths have been reported and seven people are in critical condition after a blaze broke out at a Romanian-based Covid-19 intensive care centre.
According to an emergency services spokeswoman, all of those who were killed or injured in the fire were hospital patients except for one person.
The fire which is believed to have been caused by a short circuit spread throughout the entire ward at the Piatra Neamt Regional Emergency Hospital.
Emergency services brought the fire under control within one hour.
