Status Yellow wind warning issued for entire country

Met √Čireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning for the entire country which will take effect this afternoon with gusts of up to 90km/h to be expected.

Munster’s warning came into effect at 11am and will remain so until 3pm.

Leinster and Connaught’s warning will remain in effect until 6pm today.

The warning for Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal will remain in effect until 9pm.

A forecast of wet and windy weather is to be expected for the entire country.
