Two arrests made following money-laundering investigation

A man and a woman, both aged in their 20s, have been arrested by gardaí in connection to a money-laundering investigation.

The investigation, as part of Operation Joggle, is targeting a West African organised crime gang which is suspected of being involved in a trade-based money laundering operation worth approximately €14.6 million.

The man and woman are currently being detained at Dundalk Garda Station.

They are the sixth and seventh arrests to be made as part of Operation Joggle
