Man charged with murder after body is found in Phibsboro, Dublin

A 47-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a man in Dublin and is due in court tomorrow.

Paul Murtagh (42) was murdered on Friday night at a house in Phibsboro, Dublin following a serious assault.

Gardaí responded to the incident after a solicitor informed them of a row that had taken place at the Auburn Street property.

The 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and has since been charged following consultations with the Director of Public Prosecutions.
