Permanent TSB to cut 300 jobs in cost-saving efforts

Permanent TSB is planning to cut up to 300 jobs through voluntary redundancies in an attempt to cut its costs further.

The voluntary redundancy scheme will target predominantly head office and management roles which will equate to approximately 12.5% of its nearly 2,400 staff.

PTSB have stated that their 76 branches will not be affected by these changes.

The company also intends to reduce it property footprint as they plan to not renew a lease on office space on Hatch Street in Dublin.
